I was invited to participate in the Emerald Sabbath Project, which is an all-star Black Sabbath tribute album featuring ex-members of Sabbath. I ended up singing three songs: “Hole in The Sky”, “Trashed” and “Die Young”. I’m representing three different Sabbath singers and worked with some amazing musicians.

That should be out this summer. Rock Candy Records is also re-releasing the two classic Keel MCA records later this year: The Final Frontier and the self-titled Keel album from 1987. Both have been out of print for decades and are remastered with new packaging and liner notes.”In terms of the upcoming Ron Keel Band album Fight Like A Band, Ron Keel advised: “Right now, we’re right in the thick of the writing process. The title track reflects the story of what I’ve been through these last few years.

The guys in the band have been with me for three years now, and they’ve been my support group while my wife has gone through breast cancer treatment. It’s been difficult and tough for she and I these last few years, but we’ve remained positive.

The guys have had my back and have been there with me through the hard times, and that message is what the song is all about.”You can read the rest of the interview with Ron Keel at.
